Meshmatics Chandelier
Description
Belying its sophisticated appearance and Art Deco overtones, Meshmatics is fashioned from humble wire netting, beautifully elevated by Dutch designer Rick Tegelaar (who developed a special machine and a set of tools to model it with accuracy). Realizing the full potential of the thin and flexible medium, the chandelier takes form as it is stretched and shaped in 3 overlapping layers. Given the nature of the transparent material, Meshmatics emits a radiant glow without obstructing the view.
