Vass Desk
Description
Like reeds (“vass” in Swedish) growing upwards at a lake’s shore, random indented lines border the desktop of Asplund's writing table. Designed by the Swedish architecture and design firm Claesson Koivisto Rune, that patterning actually serves to charmingly camouflage the desk's hidden drawer. With the wood base in light oak or dark walnut, the desktop is available in contrasting lacquered MDF in a range of hues or stained solid oak.
